At Opposite Ends, Simultaneously.
Ever find yourself in a situation where you’re torn between two opposites? You want both, but have to choose one.
I’ve often gotten that feeling when the choice was between going shopping with my mom or swimming at my grandparents. As I’ve gotten older, those opposite ends now have ramifications that will effect the course of the rest of my life.
After defeating all odds of time and graduating high school WAY earlier than projected the same questions come to me that come to people graduating at 18: What’re you doing now that you’re out of High School? What college are you planning on going to? What are you planning on studying?
With the majority of my close friends going to college next semester I often times find myself wishing I could join them. On the other hand I’m glad I’m not because to go to college would mean I would have to postpone everything that I’m doing now - which is what I wanted to do after I graduated college.
As a result, I find myself at opposite ends of the answer, simultaneously.
